Our Paralegals and Legal Assistants have prepared deposition summaries relating to Asbestos Litigation, Benzene Litigation, Train Accidents, General Personal Injury, Domestic Law, General Health Care Litigation, Wrongful Death Litigation, and General Business Litigation. Ruffin Consulting’s clients include law firms and legal service providers from North Carolina to California. We are engaged in business with legal service providers that conduct business across the United States.

Our client base is expanding as our court reporting, videography, trial support, paralegal, and transcription services prove to be of superior quality. We serve North Carolina and also provide services nationwide.  Our paralegals work with attorneys in Texas gathering medical records and summarizing them.

Bonnie Ruffin is the founder and president of Ruffin Consulting, Inc. She graduated with her Associate Degree in Paralegal Technology in 1991 from Pitt Community College in Greenville, North Carolina and began working with attorneys in 1990. She is a North Carolina Board Certified Paralegal. Mrs. Ruffin has continued her legal education through various legal and professional seminars and formal education since obtaining her paralegal degree in 1991.  After attending Barton College on a part-time basis, Mrs. Ruffin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

She is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the North Carolina Bar Association – Legal Assistant Division, and the North Carolina Paralegal Association.  Mrs. Ruffin served as the Chairman of the Board for the North Carolina Paralegal Association and as District VIII Director for approximately two years.  Mrs. Ruffin has worked with attorneys in North Carolina and Texas as a full-time staff paralegal. She has managed cases primarily regarding personal injury, including medical malpractice suits. She has experience working on cases relating to auto accidents, train accidents, toxic tort, slip and fall, nursing home, medical malpractice, contract disputes, trademark infringement, and other types of cases.
